Aprilli Alexinne is a queer Filipino multimedia creative who explores the realms of surrealism and magical realism in her creative works. Predominantly focusing on visual arts and creative writing, she immerses herself in storytelling through various mediums.
After finishing her B.A. in Multimedia Arts specializing in Digital Film, she immediately traversed in different areas of film and TV production in the earlier years of her career. Until the pandemic and a certain network shutdown happened. Consequently, she decided to return to her hometown to live a slower-paced life; a life that led her to rediscover her love for literature and visual arts. With the thrill of having much freedom, and with having no one to ask permission to, Aprilli ran with her intent to explore as much expanse of creative bliss she can come across. Making art through different multimedia disciplines has truly been a delight for her. Thus, she does it for a living—as she lives for it. Excitingly, what started as an exploration, morphed into aiming to make something for others to experience as well. As of late, beyond her artistic pursuits, she now also collaborates as a sales partner for theater shows. |
